PTHP 8330 - Pediatric Considerations in Patient Management (3 Credit Hours)

A comprehensive, evidence-based overview of physical therapy management of pediatric patients/ clients.  Explores developmental milestones, the unique psychosocial needs of the patient/ client and family, handling skills, and communication considerations within the care of this population. It is expected that the knowledge and skills gained in this course will be applied to pediatric patients/ clients across all healthcare settings and diagnoses.
