PTHP 8125 - Geriatric Considerations in Patient Management (2 Credit Hours)A comprehensive, evidence-based overview of physical therapy management of older adults. Students learn to manage the unique needs of an aging adult population across all healthcare settings. Explores the myths of aging while providing evidence to enable older adults to not only survive but thrive. It is expected that the knowledge and skills regarding the aging process gained in this course will be applied to geriatric patients/ clients across all healthcare settings and diagnoses.
