PTHP 8025 - Physical Therapy Clinical Experience I (8 Credit Hours)The first full-time clinical experience in the clinical education coursework. Focuses on the care of patients/clients with orthopedic problems. Students are assigned to outpatient clinical facilities. Under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist, students are expected to use the knowledge and skills gained in didactic coursework to examine, evaluate, diagnose, develop a prognosis, outline expected outcomes, and design and implement an intervention plan for patients/clients with orthopedic dysfunction.
