ART 5406 - Advanced Applications of Ceramics (3 Credit Hours)
Students develop a portfolio through the exploration of clay as an expressive art medium. Responsibility is placed on the individual to find meaningful content and an effective means to express that content within the ceramic arts. Emphasis is placed on the application of clay to design problems involving aesthetic value and procedure in the making of ceramic objects. Students review the relative contexts of both the theoretical and practical aspects of succeeding as a practicing artist.
