ENGL 1101 - College Composition I
Composition I focuses on skills required for effective writing in a variety of contexts, with emphasis on exposition, analysis, and argumentation. This course also includes introductory use of a variety of research skills. The course provides instruction in word processing and in computer-based research. A grade of C or better is required. Once students have earned and/or transferred in 18 hours, they must continue to register for ENGL 1101 until successfully completing the course. Prerequisite(s): None.
