ART 3401 - Ceramics I



ART 3401 is an introduction to the fundamentals of working with clay as an art medium. The course will provide the student with basic ceramics techniques explored through vessels, sculpture, pottery, and glazing techniques. The course will expand on the compositional fundamentals and visual and verbal skills introduced in ART 1211, ART 1520, and ARET 1530. Prerequisite(s): ART 1520, ART 1530, ART 1211; or permission of the instructor.
