This course provides an in-depth examination of the theories and principles of community and public health nursing. Emphasis is placed on community health assessment, identification of vulnerable populations and the exploration of global health issues. Students apply the concepts learned in the classroom in a variety of community settings. Prerequisite(s): Core A-F requrements and NURS 3001.
