This course explores the theoretical basis for and basic principles of providing community-based healthcare to individuals and families across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on wellness, health promotion and maintenance, and disease prevention in individuals and families. Prerequisite(s): Core A-F requrements, NURS 3000 or NURS 3010.
