COMT 3055 - Hist of Film II-1960 to Pres
A look at how the films produced after 1960 began to reflect the social, political and economic situations in America. Significant emphasis will be placed on the classic films of the 1970s - a time of upheaval in America that resulted in outstanding filmmaking and, ultimately, the recognition of film as a major art form. Prerequisite(s): COMC 2010 or COMC 2000 with a grade of C or better.
