COMT 3022 - Theories and Tech of Editing
An introductory course in the theory and application of picture and sound editing. Included is the discussion, analysis and hands-on use of the digital editing system Final Cut Pro Studio. Comprehensive editing tools, techniques and digital cinema workflows such as capturing, digitizing, color correction, and first assembly are examined and utilized. Prerequisite(s): COMC 2010 and COMT 3000, both with grades of C or better.
