MUSI 2102 - Adv. Ear Train & Sight Sing II
A continued study of the harmonic practices of the 19th and early 20th centuries through aural analysis and recognition and the development of sight-singing skills. Emphasis on common formal processes, extended tertian chords, modal practices and the twelve-tone system. Prerequisite(s): MUSI 2101, 2211. Corequisite: MUSI 2212 must be taken concurrently or prior to enrollment in MUSI 2102. Offered spring.
