PHIL 3002 - Ethical Theory
The course examines the major ethical theories and philosophers as represented in the virtue-ethics, utilitarian and deontological ethical traditions. The focus of the course will be on a critical examination of the rational basis of our moral duties and will raise questions about the status of moral beliefs and judgments. Prerequisite(s): PHIL 2010 with a grade of C or better.
