MATH 1120 - Contemporary Mathematics
A second course in mathematics for the liberal arts student. A study of the nature of mathematics and its applications. At least seven (7) topics will be chosen from: set theory, logic, combinatorics, graph theory, probability, statistics, consumer mathematics, history of mathematics, numeration systems, the metric system, number theory, geometry, and algorithm development and computers. Prerequisite(s): MATH 1111 or MATH 1101.
