PHYS 3260 - Computational Physics
Introduction to computationally based problem solving in physics. Emphasis on understanding and applying various numerical algorithms to different types of physics problems. Topics will include realistic mechanical systems. Monte Carlo methods and time independent as well as time-dependent quantum physics problems. Prerequisite(s): PHYS 2212 (C or better), CSCI 2060 (C or better).
