PTHP 7120 - Personal and Professional Leadership Development (1 Credit Hour) Provides students with the opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge, and competency related to personal leadership and professional development. This course is structured to promote professional identity formation by introducing the student to the professional organization (American Physical Therapy Association [APTA]), its core values and code of ethics. Students learn the standards of professionalism and professional conduct and learn to use feedback and personal reflection as a means of personal and professional growth. It is expected that the knowledge and skills gained in this course are applied to all health care practice settings.
