EDUC 7010 - Critical Issues in Urban Education Policy and Practice (3 Credit Hours) This course introduces the historical and sociocultural forces that shape contemporary US urban educational structures. Within an increasingly globalized political and economic system, this course will examine theories, empirical research, and policy documents relevant to the cultural, social, legal, and political issues surrounding urban educators, students, and families in the United States.
