HEHP 7500 - Health Innovation and Entrepreneurship (3 Credit Hours) This course is an introduction to design thinking, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the health sciences. Students will develop critical thinking and problem identification skills, understand the innovation process, and explore startup and small business communities through presentations and discussions with successful entrepreneurs. Students will also learn about commercialization pathways for products in the health sciences such as devices, digital technologies, diagnostics, and therapeutics. At the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of how to develop innovative solutions for healthcare and public health challenges.
