APHS 7001 - Learning Theories in Health Professions Education (2 Credit Hours) This course provides an introduction to general learning theories and medical education theory. The focus of this course is on the exploration of learning theories and how they apply to instructional methods and designs. By examining a variety of learning theories, students will identify a range of principles, perspectives, and tools that will be useful in understanding learning and teaching in a variety of contexts.
