BIOL 6620 - Principles of Medicinal Chemistry (3 Credit Hours) A study of the chemical interactions of the major drug classes, including those derived from natural products, with the dru targets. Drug uptake, distribution, metabolim and toxicity for the major drug classes is also studied. Students enrolled for graduate credit will be required to review scientific literature and case studies related to the course topics.
