BMFN 5102 - Biomedical Foundations II (4 Credit Hours) This course presents lectures on microbiology and immunology including microbial physiology, metabolism, genetics, Pharmacology and mechanisms of pathogenesis and basic principles of immunology and immunological responses. Further, current materials presented in this course will provide information concerning the fundamental processes of the oral micro flora and the underlying principles of host defense which are critical to the students in dental medicine and dentistry in general.
