NURS 9250 - Investigation of a Research Problem (1 to 12 Credit Hours) This course, designed for students in a research-focused doctoral program, provides students the opportunity to work with individual faculty members on a specific investigative research problem. The course provides an introduction to the scientific method in action and helps the student progress toward the defense of their dissertation proposal. Students take this course from their third semester in the PhD program until they successfully defend their dissertation proposal and officially enter candidacy. The student typically takes this course with their major advisor or a member of their PhD advisory committee.
