GRMN 1001 - Elementary German I (3 Credit Hours) Fundamentals of listening, speaking, reading, and writing German in a proficiency-based classroom. Introduction to German-speaking cultures. Designed for students who have never studied German. Not open to native speakers. Heritage speakers and students who had German in high school should take the placement exam. Students must earn a C or better in order to take German 1002.
