MATH 3261 - Mathematics for Middle School Teachers I (3 Credit Hours) A study of the real number system including multiple representations of numbers, relationships between numbers, operations, properties, and estimation. Additional topics include proportional reasoning, algebraic reasoning, and elementary number theory. (This course will not count toward a major or minor in mathematics.) Prerequisite(s): Admission to teacher education and permission of instructor.
