MATH 3241 - Mathematics for Early Childhood Teachers I (3 Credit Hours) A study of the real number system with an emphasis on rational numbers. Topics include multiple representations of numbers, relationships between numbers, properties, operations, estimation, and flexible and varied approaches to problem solving. (This course will not count toward a major or minor in mathematics.) Prerequisite(s): Admission to teacher education and permission of instructor.
