PSRY 5036 - Inpatient and CL Psychiatry
Introduce the student to a diverse patient population which will provide them with learning experience in: Mood disorders, psychotic disorders, eating disorders, organic mental disorders; adjustment disorders; post traumatic stress disorder; personality disorders, substance abuse and acute detoxification, management of acute agitation, psychopharmacology, inpatient psychotherapy in individual and group setting, management of medical problems contributing to psychiatric illness, assessment of competency-informed consent, and Consult Liaison evaluation and coordination with referring medical and or surgical teams.
