NDPT 7723 - Clinical Education II
The purpose of this clinical placement is to provide the student with an opportunity for practical application of the foundational sciences and the clinical problems skills studied in the first two years of professional class work. Students will have an opportunity to analyze and integrate the five elements of patient client management (examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, plan of care and intervention) for patients with integumentary, musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and neuromuscular (Pediatrics) conditions. These skills will be performed under the direct supervision of a licensed practicing clinician. This ten-week assignment can occur in a variety of rural and/or urban facilities.
