NDPT 7121 - Medical Terminology
Prerequisite: Admission to DPT program.
Medical Terminology is specifically designed to meet the needs of students in medical, biological, and health-related programs and provides them with a working knowledge of medical vocabulary using a systems approach. This course provides a study of words that pertain to body systems, anatomic structures, medical processes and procedures, and a variety of diseases. Medical terminology is a specialized language for the healthcare team so they may communicate in a concise and accurate way.
