FMPC 5086 - Georgia Global Health Peru
Students will receive didactic clinical lectures in Augusta, GA, then travel to Cusco, Peru for the remainder. Students will experience diverse healthcare delivery in multiple clinical settings, including hospital-based, ministry of health clinic, private, non-profit, and remote rural clinical locations. This introduction to global health is a unique opportunity for students to gain valuable insights into the vast challenges within the global health arena. The vivid contrasts in healthcare delivery will impart important principles of diversity and cultural competency.
