NURS 7724 - Adult-Gerontology ACNP II: Evid-Based Mgmt for Urgent and Emergent Health Prob in Adult
The second ACNP clinical course focuses on the assessment and management of adults and elderly individuals with urgent and emergent conditions in the acute care setting. Students strengthen their understanding of foundational physiological concepts through application of care to clients with complex disease. Analysis, synthesis, and critique of the latest research facilitates students’ understanding and ability to provide up-to-date, evidence-based care. The clinical experience provides opportunities to participate in collaborative practice with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team, design evidence-based interventions, and evaluate outcomes in a higher acuity environment.
