Program Overview
The ABSN option is offered on Augusta and Athens Campuses. The goal is to increase the number of registered nurses for the state of Georgia and to place new nurse graduates into the workforce one semester earlier. This program was initially offered in 2018 and after a brief pause is back open to enrollment. Students complete the program by enrolling in four consecutive fall, spring, summer, fall semesters; graduating the fall semester of their senior year. Students experience close cohort and faculty interaction throughout the program. A traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing is also available.
