Program Overview
The MAT is a graduate level initial teacher certification program. This program is designed for candidates that have obtained an undergraduate degree in a field outside of education.

Progression and Graduation Requirements
- Must complete Ethics 360 Exit Assessment
- State Certification Exam (GACE II) must be passed with satisfactory score prior to entry into the MAT in Music Education
- To graduate, students must have an overall 2.8 GPA and earn a C or better in all courses toward the degree

Degree Requirements
State Certification Exam (GACE II) must be passed prior to entry into the MAT in Music Education. Concentration Courses: 21 Hours
Elective: 3 Hours
