Progression and Graduation Requirements 

  • A grade of C or better is required for all work in the minor (including prerequisites)
  • Courses taken to satisfy Core IMPACTS requirements may not be counted as coursework in the minor
  • Prerequisite to the minor: POLS 1101  

Minor Requirements


Social Science Course: 3 Hours


If the student’s major has a required research methods course, SOSC 3001/3002/3003 is NOT required. The student may substitute any other Political Science course numbered 3000 or above.

Select one of the following courses:

Upper-Division Courses: 12 Hours


In consultation with an advisor, select four courses from the following:

  • EURO 3XXX - European Union Studies Elective (3 Credit Hours)
  • EURO 4XXX - European Union Studies Elective (3 Credit Hours)
  • POLS 3XXX - Political Science Elective (3 Credit Hours)
  • POLS 4XXX - Political Science Elective (3 Credit Hours)

Minor Total: 15 Hours
