Program Overview
Augusta University’s Bachelor of Science with a major in Biomedical Systems Engineering (BMSE) is a four-year degree program offered by the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences (SCCS), located in the Georgia Cyber Center. The program concentrates on the biomedical and health informatics systems focused on people, processes, and organizations in healthcare. This program is aimed at improving the understanding and management of biomedicine systems and the ability to develop digital healthcare-oriented systems and technologies, with security and integrity guarantees.

Progression & Graduation Requirements
- A grade of C or better is required in all Area F, Major Requirements, Concentration, and Major Elective courses.
- Students must take and pass with a C or better PHIL 2030 - Introduction to Ethics (3 Credit Hours).
- Students must take and pass with a C or better either ECON 2105 - Macroeconomics (3 Credit Hours), or ECON 2106 - Microeconomics (3 Credit Hours).
