Post-Master’s Certificate in Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner

Program Overview
The certificate program is designed for nurses who currently hold a nurse practitioner (NP) certification and would like to expand their scope of practice to provide care to the age spectrum of adults-older adults, who have acute and/or complex care needs. Upon completion, the students are eligible to take the Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) certification exam offered by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. This is an embedded or stand alone certificate.
