Post-Master’s Certificate in Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner

Program Overview
The certificate program in is designed for nurses who currently hold an APRN certification and would like to expand their scope to provide care to adults-older adult age spectrum, who have acute and/or complex care needs. Upon completion, the students are eligible to take the Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) certification exam offered by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. This is an embedded or stand alone certificate.
