Program Overview
The DNP-PNP concentration educates advanced nurse clinicians for expert practice in leadership and clinical roles with focus on the primary health care of children from birth through young adult. This doctoral-level education provides the clinical policy, and leadership expertise to improve child and family health care outcomes. The program enables nurse to become expert nurse leaders and collaborators in solving health care problems in systems. Full-time and part-time schedules are available. The program is approved by the Georgia Board of Regents as a web-based program with greater than50 percent of the program taught online. Cohort locations are on our Augusta and Athens campuses.

This program is fully accredited by Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Graduates are eligible to meet requirements for national board certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
