Program Overview
The certificate program is designed for nurses who currently hold an APRN certification and would like to expand their scope to provide primary healthcare to clients from birth until young adulthood. Upon completion, the students are eligible to take the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) certification exam offered by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. This is an embedded or stand alone certificate.

Program Accreditation
This program is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Graduates are prepared to meet the eligibility requirements for national board certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
