Bachelor of Science in Nursing - RN to BSN Track

Students who enter the RN to BSN track are registered nurses who hold a valid and unrestricted license as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of Georgia. They must complete 60 credit-hours in core requirements prior to applying to the nursing program. Once admitted into the program, they receive 36 hours of credit toward the major and must earn another 30 hours in the major to satisfy the degree.

Area A for Bachelor of Science in Nursing: 9 Hours
Area B for Bachelor of Science in Nursing: 4 Hours
Area C for Bachelor of Science in Nursing: 6 Hours
Students must select courses from two different disciplines (determined by the course prefix) to satisfy Area C.
Area D for Bachelor of Science in Nursing: 11 Hours

Augusta University current students must complete the WELL 1000 Wellness course (2 hrs.) and the two physical activity wellness courses (1 hr. each) in their freshman or sophomore years. Students will not be allowed to progress into the NURS prefix courses unless the wellness requirement is met. Wellness exemption exists when transferring 60 or more credits from an accredited institution.
