Bachelor of Arts with a major in Political Science and a concentration in International Studies

International Studies concentration is designed to enable and encourage students to become more proficient in understanding global affairs. The curriculum combines 24 hours of upper level Political Science courses with 6 hours in a related discipline including advanced language training. All courses require a grade of C or better.

Core Curriculum Areas A‑E (with Overlay Areas I, II, and III): 42 Hours

Core Area F: 18 Hours


(Grade of C or better is required in all Area F courses)

Major Concentration: 30 Hours


(Grade of C or better is required in all of these courses)

Choose 6 hours from the following courses: 6


Electives: 28-30 hours of which at least 15 must be at the 3000 or 4000 level


Wellness Graduation Requirement: 4 Hours


Total Hours for the Degree and Concentration: 124
