Department Overview
The Department of Information Systems and Security offers comprehensive undergraduate and graduate programs in Information Technology and Cybersecurity. The curriculum is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for in-demand careers such as systems analyst, web developer, cyber defense analysist, cyber defense incident responder, and cybersecurity manager. Augusta University is recognized as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense and Cyber Operations by the National Security Agency (NSA) and other federal agencies—an honor that includes our Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity. Our faculty bring extensive industry experience and active research in information systems, business, and cybersecurity.
