NURS 7982 - Optimizing Scholarly Practice II
In this course students will examine the processes necessary to effectively develop, implement, and evaluate a practice change project. Students will begin to apply the concepts of scholarly practice to address an identified practice issue. Students will identify the target population, community resources and health care systems that will be impacted by their proposed project. Students will also investigate the policy implications and the opportunity for impacting policy change related to practice change project. Methods for implementing and evaluating effective change will be analyzed for validity, reliability and feasibility in the context of practice change. Ethical research and protection of human subjects will be addressed.
