NURS 7500 - Clinical Leadership and Management
This course presents theories, concepts and models essential to developing leadership and management skills needed to collaborate with healthcare providers and community members. The student will apply and integrate creative and effective strategies for managing and leading in the delivery of nursing care. Opportunities exist for students to synthesize and integrate past principles and concepts into the development of the Clinical Nurse Leader role. Concepts related to leadership, management, policy, resource utilization, planning/evaluating services, and outcomes are critically examined.
