NURS 7224 - Advanced Seminar in Healthcare Policy
National, state and local healthcare policy impacts healthcare at the level of delivery. Students will critically examine clinical issues and how healthcare policy impacts the outcomes. Relationships between policy and patient care will be examined in areas such as the distribution of limited resources, healthcare disparities, diffusion of technology, and current issues in healthcare. Students will critically examine a clinical issues and how healthcare policy impacts outcomes in a form of a publishable essay.
