CSCI 6532 - Hardware and Embedded Systems (3 Credit Hours)This course explores the design of microcontrollers and how to define requirements for their application; develop an embedded system for a specific application; and program custom controllers when off-the-shelf products won’t work. Hardware reverse engineering is used to determine hardware functionality, inputs, outputs, and stored data. Industrial Control Systems and Critical Infrastructure sectors are introduced.
