ANAT 8051 - Histology for Graduate Studies I (3 Credit Hours)This course is the first part of a comprehensive histology course that places a focus on basic structure and function of the various cells of the body incorporating basic disease mechanisms and pathologies to enhance functional understanding of histology. The course consists of lectures and complementary laboratories. During the first part of this course students will learn the basic organization and function of the cell, histology of the Musculoskeletal System and histology of the Cardiopulmonary system. This course is for two populations of students: graduate medical illustration students and graduate PhD biomedical research students who will be integrated with the first-year medical students for the entirety of the course.
