HIST 3571 - Topics in Latin America (3 Credit Hours)
This course will examine the history of Latin America in a topical or thematic approach. It will examine the role of race on nationbuilding and society, for instance the African Heritage of Latin America or Indigenous Heritage of Latin America. Or, the course will be centered on a particular cross-regional theme such as Latin America and the Environment or Health and Society in Latin America, for example. May be repeated for credit.
