RSED 5511 - Esthetic Restorative Dentistry (4 Credit Hours)
The goal of this course is to provide an exposure of the special didactic and clinical requirements of esthetic restorations such as; porcelain and composite veneers, direct placement layered composites, shade selection, and vital bleaching procedures. In addition, students will learn to evaluate and document the esthetic needs of patients through the use of a smile analysis and intra-oral photography. Treatment rationale and restoration longevity are presented so that the student can successfully develop a comprehensive esthetic treatment plan.
