NURS 7100 - Integrated Healthcare: Population Health (3 Credit Hours)
This course will build on previous course knowledge and will provide a theoretical foundation in community assessment, disease prevention, and health behavior. The theoretical concepts will be applied to promotion of health for communities and vulnerable populations. Understanding of systems and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team are emphasized. Community Health nursing practice will be examined and synthesized utilizing historical, philosophical, legal, and ethical foundations and integrated knowledge. During the clinical segment, the student will be responsible for the clinical management of comprehensive client care along the continuum of care in multiple community settings.
