OTHP 6100 - Foundations of Occupational Therapy
Foundational knowledge and skills of occupational therapy related to the history of the profession and current global health trends. Includes the delineation of roles, use of theory and evidence, the function of professional organizations, the practice framework, use of health care terminology, application of critical reasoning within varied models of practice and settings. Transfer skills, vital signs, management of assistive mobility devices, adaptive dressing equipment, adaptive feeding, adapted equipment for IADL.
