NURS 4605 - Issues in Women’s Healthcare
This survey course offers an introduction to students on contemporary issues in women’s health. Theoretical information will be presented and discussed in by-weekly seminars; students will examine society’s impact on women’s health and information about women’s common health concerns. A major emphasis will be on an advocacy approach towards women and their health. Research issues as they relate to women’s health will be discussed.
